HELP MY MAN, LESEAN, MAKE HIS INCREDIBLE VISION COME TO LIFE!!!!

www.kickstarter.com/projects/4…

Hi, everyone.

It seems I am hurting for dough these days (shocker, right?). I have a bunch of random original artworks, sequential pages, sketch cards, and even some books that I am interested in selling soon. Not sure when I can get around to it. It might be real sporadic, so this is just me giving everyone a heads-up to keep an eye out. I will try to keep prices lower than usual, of course.

Thanks for your time, homies.

Hi, all.

Thank you so much to everyone for the awesome comments about my Adventure Time cards! It's a good reminder that I am doing something right lol.

I have had many people ask me about purchasing the Adventure Time AP cards. Unfortunately, they are all sold now. Sorry!

If you ever do want a commission however or one of my own customized original sketch card blanks, don't hesitate to let me know!

Thank you all again for expressing your love for these cards. I had alot of fun making them :D
Heyall.

I'm finally getting around to posting the Adventure Time sketch cards that I did for Cryptozoic.

I may post a few today and a few tomorrow or whatever. Depends on how I feel about submitting EACH. AND. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. THEM. here at dA...There will be 53 total...I did 55...but 2 got rejected and will never ever ever see the light of day to ANYONE. It's a shame cuz I really liked those 2! :iconranaplz:

Anywho...I hope you like 'em.

It's been a while since I've last set foot here. I have almost 3,000 messages to look at! Eh...All in due time.

The main reason for my absence is the birth of my son, Dante. I love this little, hairy, blue-eyed guy!

Also the holidays have been brutal at my job. Ten to twelve -hour shifts make Adam a dull boy.

Another reason is because I just recently finished drawing 55 "Adventure Time" sketch cards. They look great. Hopefully I will be able to show them off soon.

But other than all that, I'm basically back now.

Well I just uploaded several new artworks that I've been working on as of late. So there's that.

I just redesigned my site ( www.adamcline.com ) for the 50th time this year. So there's that.

I started my new graveyard shift job about a month ago. I'm back with the United States Postal Service, but this time not as a Mail Carrier. Thank Jeebus. So there's that too.

Oh and I'm having a baby. A son, in fact. I'm way excited!

Well, I just finished up redesigning my site once again. No matter what I was doing to it, I wasn't liking it or I ended up thinking it boring after a week or so. However, I do like this new one and I made an incredible effort to make sure it renders perfectly on all browsers and mobile devices. I had some issues at the end with subpixel rendering on Opera and Safari, but I experimented and discovered a simple fix. It's been that way throughout the redesigning, but I'm pretty proud of myself since I didn't have to ask a single soul for help. I just researched and experimented alot. Anyway, here's my new site design...

Any crit, questions, and suggestions are welcome.
Saw this questionaire over at boston-joe.deviantart.com/ and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to fill it out myself even if no one cared! I'm a nerd like that. Plus I think it helps me out too. The original questions come from houseleaguefiction.com/. Anyways, here's my answers:

1. What is the working title of your book?

Right now it's "To Die", but I know 100% that it will change.

2. Where did the idea come from for the book?

Originally "To Die" was just comic strips featuring a character I dubbed "Lucky" in which he would die a horrible death at the end…but in a humorous manner. I basically wanted to beat the crap out of a character as much as possible. I took that same concept and simply broadened it into a full-fledged storyline where Lucky actually had more of a reason to his existence…well, lack thereof.

3. What genre does your book fall under?

Good question. Perhaps dark humor/fantasy/drama.

4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

I couldn't see "To Die" as live-action. More along the lines of a claymation like Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas". With that said, I'd need some voice actors. I wouldn't want famous actors. I'd prefer someone from indie films along with some real professional voice actors. Gosh, I really didn't answer this question…

5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

"To Die" is about Lucky, a neglected kid/adult who never had control of his awful life, but was too oblivious of the fact to ever care.

6. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

My goal is to self-publish "To Die", but if an agency was to approach me with the right terms, I'd give it some consideration.

7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

I can't even recall how many times I've re-written "To Die", so I don't necessarily have a "first draft". After many years of just back-and-forth writing, I have a summary that I'm finally pleased with, so right now I'm in the process of breaking it down into comic book format.

8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

I'm a huge fan of Dante's Divine Comedy along with other classic literature like Hamlet, Faust, or the work of Edgar Allan Poe. I took parts that I liked from them and made my own story. I also like Cathy Malkasian's "Percy Gloom" story. I suppose I like sad, little characters that the reader feels sorry for, but can't help but to see what's going to happen to them next.

9. Who or What inspired you to write this book?

When life gives you lemons…

10. What else about your book might pique the reader's interest?

It has talking animals.
Seriously. This year I haven't been able to do too much art due to my job, but I got a new one starting in two weeks which will allow me much more time. I've been working 60-70 hr weeks, but soon it'll be back to my ol' 40 hr work week, so I'm relieved.

But damn...I don't have much time to check dA, so when I do, it's alot to go through. And I'm incredibly happy to see all the amazing artwork being produced here! It makes me feel like such a tiny pebble in the ocean. I can't wait to get back on my grind again.

Just posted all the sketch cards I did for Cryptozoic's new trading card series for DC's "The New 52".

Finished the sketch cards I did for Rittenhouse's new trading card series for Marvel's Bronze Age. I'lll post them up whenever allowed.

Still working out the storyline for my "Black Grim the Devourer" comic book series. I like it quite a bit so far. It's got some Norse mythology inspiration, some "God of War" vibes, some cannibalism, some sex, some fighting...you know...cool stuff like that. I'll try to post updates and art whenever possible.
Lots of new developments in this ol' life of mine, but I'll make it brief. I just finished up making 40 cards for Cryptozoic, 20 for the Walking Dead set and 20 for the DC New 52 set. I will post them up when possible. I got a new job and it is sucking the life out of me, but gets me the dough I need to make a new life so yeah...I will be moving soon and eventually will move my mom in with me. Dunno how much art I'll be getting done in the near future, but I really hope to get back into my own comic book projects, mainly Black Grim the Devourer. That's the plan anyhow. In any event, I'm getting my farmer tan on...

Tis the season again. Hope everyone is doing well. I just turned 30 a few days ago. I feel accomplished yet not. I got alot more left in me for the next 30 years ;)

With that said, I'm going to start selling some of my older artwork. Maybe it will cleanse my past a bit, but also let's face it...I could use the dough!

Here's an original comic book page from the graphic novel, "Concerned": cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?…

Check it out. "Like" it. Buy it? ^_^'''
I just posted a bunch of older cards I drew the past year or so. It feels good to get this older art put behind me to some respect. Just trying to clear the air so I can get re-focused. Tis good tis good.

I'm redesigning my site right now. It's almost done.

I'm on a new trading card series for Breygent. It's for Red Sonja.

I got some original sketch cards for sale right now. I'll get into details later. Just giving a heads-up for anyone interested.

What you up to?
Well I'm getting back into making more arts. Drawing a little Star Wars here and some Roller Derby girls there. Just trying to get back into a real flow, ya know. Got a new scanner too, so I hope I don't fall off the internet universe again any time soon. I'm redesigning AdamCline.com...AGAIN. It's not online just yet, but I do like how it's looking right now, so that's something to say.
Alrighty then.

I moved on July 1st then I moved again on August 1st. I'm now in Denver, Colorado. I'm starting my "calming down" phase.

I've been away from my art for far too long. This must end. But first...IKEA.
I'm just moving to Denver. Woopity woop.
